KOA's Rima: Sen. Clinton is "the Antichrist" and has "a big ass"; Colorado Media Matters "a bunch of yahoos"
On the March 13 broadcast of Newsradio 850 KOA's The Gunny Bob Show, guest host Sean Rima attacked Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton as "the Antichrist" and added that "she's got a big ass." He then stated, "[M]ake sure you write that one down there and put it on your little transcript of outrage there on Colorado Media Matters. She's got a big butt, and she's the Antichrist. How does that make you feel? Write that one down." Earlier in the broadcast, Rima addressed Colorado Media Matters by saying, "[J]ust in case they're listening: You're a bunch of yahoos."
Rima further stated, "My favorite from Colorado Media Matters is still 'Rima, Rhymes with "Slima." ' When I first started work here, 'Sean Rima is the latest host at KOA to crawl up out of the slime.' Those guys are great at Colorado Media Matters." However, Colorado Media Matters never made such a reference to Rima. Rather, a blogger on SquareState.net wrote a posting titled "Sean Rima, Rhymes with 'Slima,' " on November 14, 2006, that stated, "Sean Rima is the newest to crawl up from the slime and get hired at KOA."
In addition to labeling Clinton "the Antichrist" on March 13, Rima attacked her on the February 4 broadcast of KOA's The Jon Caldara Show for "bawl[ing] her eyes out" while campaigning earlier that day, asking, "Isn't that just like a woman? Isn't that just like a chick with a capital C?" Also, guest hosting for Newman on March 12, 2007, Rima agreed with a caller's assertion that African-Americans "like" former President Bill Clinton because he "was a smooth womanizer," as Colorado Media Matters noted.
From the March 13 broadcast of Newsradio 850 KOA's The Gunny Bob Show, with guest host Sean Rima:
RIMA: You know, I just figured out something really funny online here. You know, I was telling you at the beginning of the show that [producer] Dominic Bond* and I actually put together this quick little video of me reading one of my screwy poems, and we put it on YouTube. It's not up there yet. You can do it -- it's gonna be about seven or eight hours; when it comes up there you do a search on "mondobox." "Mondobox," and that'll bring out the premiere of my film acting debut. My film acting whatever the hell, debut thing, thingy. OK?
So I'm online here during a commercial break just doing, like, searches on myself -- which is always a dicey proposal -- trying to see if this YouTube thing has come up, and there's, like, three or four Colorado Media Matters articles on me. That's hilarious, man; every time I sit in for [Jon] Caldara or "Gunny" Bob [Newman], you know, Colorado Media Matters -- and just in case they're listening: You're a bunch of yahoos -- OK, they write some article about me, and they have, like, entire transcripts of conversations I've had with people on the phone. It's amazing the amount of work they put out there to, like, basically give me free advertising.
Here's one where were I was talking about Hillary Clinton -- remember, she was bawling her eyes out before New Hampshire. She was crying. Here's a Colorado Media Matters piece on me: "Saying Clinton 'bawled her eyes out' on the campaign trail, KOA's Rima asked, 'Isn't that just like a chick with a capital C?' " And what's cool about these transcripts is that they highlight all of my best lines, so you won't miss 'em. And they highlight my best lines because those are the lines that are upsetting them the most. It's so surreal; they're trying to draw attention to what I'm saying on the radio so you'll be disgusted and outraged, and what they're actually doing is highlighting, like, my funniest lines. It's great; thanks, guys. I hope they're listening tonight.
Hillary Clinton's the Antichrist, and she's got a big ass. There, make sure you write that one down there and put it on your little transcript of outrage there on Colorado Media Matters. She's got a big butt, and she's the Antichrist. How does that make you feel? Write that one down. Make sure you get the transcript right, guys; I don't want to be misquoted. But I do appreciate the free advertising, given my irregular schedule here at KOA. Thank you very much. I love you. Keep up the good work. 303-713-8585.
My favorite from Colorado Media Matters is still "Rima, Rhymes with 'Slima.' " [laughs] When I first started work here, "Sean Rima is the latest host at KOA to crawl up out of the slime." Those guys are great at Colorado Media Matters.

That's what happens to a reputable media outlet once they get purchased by Clear Channel Communications....
I'm going to call you bad names. And call your butt fat.
Jeez. Do these guys even listen to themselves? They sound like a bunch of 4th graders. Calling names. Playing on people's names. What a joke. This is what passes for a show?
Note to self: the Gunny Bob show is for immature grade schoolers. Good to know because I THOUGHT it was supposed to be an informative show.
CMM is getting media coverage by the "Slizards" at KOA. I thought Newman was bottom of the barrel. CMM is going to bury your sleaze.
I'm a little surprised that CMM took Rima's bait.
You may have a good point NATE. I'll keep that in mind in the future.
slima? Good one, ZAPPATERO!
