Caplis again claimed Sen. Clinton "got power out of living with a guy who was cheating on her"
Summary: Discussing a remark Chelsea Clinton had made in answer to a question at a recent campaign stop, 630 KHOW-AM co-host Dan Caplis asserted that Sen. Hillary Clinton "got power out of living with a guy who was cheating on her," referring to her husband, former President Bill Clinton. Caplis' statement echoed a claim he made during a previous broadcast, when he stated that Hillary Clinton "enabled" her husband's "cheating in exchange for power."
On his March 26 630 KHOW-AM broadcast, co-host Dan Caplis claimed that Sen. Hillary Clinton "got power out of living with a guy who was cheating on her" -- a reference to her husband, former President Bill Clinton. As Colorado Media Matters noted, on his March 12 program, Caplis similarly stated that Hillary Clinton "enabled [Bill] Clinton's cheating in exchange for power," concluding, "I think that's one reason why she was a fatally flawed ... candidate for president."
Caplis and co-host Craig Silverman were discussing a recent campaign stop where Clinton's daughter, Chelsea, was asked whether the Monica Lewinsky scandal had hurt her mother's credibility. As MSNBC's political news site "FirstRead" reported on March 25, "Campaigning in Indianapolis for her mother, Chelsea Clinton had a quick retort when asked a question she had never had before. When a male student asked her if her mother's credibility had been hurt during the Monica Lewinsky scandal, Clinton quickly responded." The report continued:
"Wow, you're the first person actually that's ever asked me that question, in the, maybe 70 college campuses that I've been to," Clinton bitterly said at Butler University. "And I don't think that's any of your business."
The students gathered to see Clinton quickly erupted into applause. Clinton took one more question, on global warming, and then wrapped up the event.
From the March 26 broadcast of 630 KHOW-AM's The Caplis & Silverman Show:
SILVERMAN: My point would be this, that the biggest victim of Monica Lewinsky was Hillary Clinton, not Chelsea Clinton. And so if you're gonna say it's off-limits for Chelsea because she was a victim, then you're saying it's off-limits for Hillary Clinton, and I just don't think it can be given her conduct throughout that, and the fact that Bill's gonna be back in the White House. I think it's a relevant inquiry.
CAPLIS: But I haven't said that. I've said the opposite. I've said that properly asked, it would be a fair question for Hillary. And I did, I completely -- totally disagree with your premise. I think by far the biggest victim of this was Chelsea Clinton. Hillary knew what she was into. She knew what she was into all along. She made a deal, and I, personally, I think she was willing to trade that life for the power that would come with it. Not Chelsea. To me, hundred times over, Chelsea much bigger victim than Hillary. [Caller], you're --
SILVERMAN: That --
CAPLIS: Because what did Chelsea get out of it? Hillary got power out of living with a guy who was cheating on her. What did Chelsea get out of it?
SILVERMAN: Chelsea is not her father's alleged sex partner. There's a certain implication when somebody goes outside the marriage that, "Hey, I'm not gettin' what I need from you, so I have to go find something else." And Chelsea wasn't the target of that, Hillary is.

Caplis and Silverman are talking like a couple of drunk bimbos in an east Colfax bar - is this Infotainment ? Who's paying these wannabe's ? C'mon.
This is like a soap opera or WWE. Ya don't follow it for a couple weeks and when CMM brings this waste of space up, he's still pulling the same disgusting crap as before. I wonder how many people are like me, got tired of the same boring stuff every broadcast, and just stopped listening.
I have been lurking on this site for a while and have enjoyed the posts regarding Sniffer. I have never heard such a self-important blowhard in all my born days. You can definitely hear his desperation when talking about Obama and Hilary. Yesterday he sounded as if he was reading from Fox talking points when trying to slam the dems. One of my favorites is when he says "Americans think..." . Does it not make sense that our democratic form of government has allowed for quite a party change in the last couple of years, and that this illustration of "majority rules" is clear indication of what America thinks?
