Boyles guest: Illegal immigrants are "the Israelites of the new millennium" and "can do anything and get away with it"

Summary: During an appearance on 630 KHOW-AM's The Peter Boyles Show, guest Terry Anderson called illegal immigrants "the Israelites of the new millennium" who "can do anything and get away with it."

On the October 25 broadcast of 630 KHOW-AM's The Peter Boyles Show, frequent guest Terry Anderson referred to illegal immigrants as "the chosen people" and "the Israelites of the new millennium," adding, "These people can do anything and get away with it." Anderson, who hosts a radio show on News Talk 870 KRLA in Los Angeles, prefaced his statement by telling Boyles, "[T]his will give you some controversy; you'll get some mail on this comment."

Anderson made his comments in response to Boyles's criticism of plea agreements that Democratic gubernatorial candidate Bill Ritter made with legal and illegal immigrants while serving as Denver district attorney:

Now, they have found 152 different times when the DA who now wants to be governor gave this plea bargain called agricultural trespass. And each one of these 150-some people, from the best of my research, not one them is -- they, they are either illegals or they are in the country but foreign born, but not U.S. citizens. So I'm starting to do a search, and I spoke with somebody last night, and I can't find -- and this is about sanctuary in Denver -- I can't find a white or an African-American dope dealer in this guy's tenure that was ever offered the plea bargain for agricultural trespass.

Responding to Boyles, Anderson "explain[ed]" that "these are the chosen people, Pete. These people are chosen. They are the -- they are the Israelites of the new millennium. These people can do anything and get away with it." Anderson added, "There are things they can do that Americans cannot do. And that extends over into American Hispanics. American Hispanics cannot get away with the things that illegal aliens can get away with."

As Colorado Media Matters previously noted, during the October 16 broadcast of Boyles's show. Anderson blamed Hispanic students in California for starting "race riots almost on a weekly basis."

From the October 25 broadcast of 630 KHOW-AM's The Peter Boyles Show:

BOYLES: Now, they have found 152 different times when the DA who now wants to be governor gave this plea bargain called agricultural trespass.

ANDERSON: Don't worry, you won't.

BOYLES: Have you ever heard of this before?

ANDERSON: Yeah, I've heard of it before. Let me explain something to you.

BOYLES: All right, explain -- that's why I had you on the show.

ANDERSON: This, this will give you some controversy; you'll get some mail on this comment. These are the chosen people, Pete. These people are chosen. They are the -- they are the Israelites of the new millennium. These people can do anything and get away with it. And they are offered deals that we're not offered. They are offered sanctuary. When did you ever get sanctuary from anything? If you, if you were selling -- if you were selling that heroin, if you were molesting these kids, if you were even trespassing on somebody's farm, you would get life or longer. They would build a new jail for you, brand new, to make sure it was nice, you know what I mean? That it would hold you. We can't get the same deal that they get. Out here in California, these people are caught doing everything from welfare fraud to felonies. And you know what? They get the plea bargain every single time.

Now when they do put them in jail is when they are multiple, multiple, multiple criminals; they've caught them five or six times and, you know, it's just kind of embarrassing. Then they'll lock these guys up, and then they don't always even deport them. That's one of the campaign things running out here now. The guy running for attorney general in California is saying, you know, "We've got to deport these illegal alien felons when they get out of jail and it's not being done." That's outrageous. But they are the new chosen people. And people laugh when I say that and say, 'Oh no, that's not true.' It is true. It is true. There are things they can do that Americans cannot do. And that extends over into American Hispanics. American Hispanics cannot get away with the things that illegal aliens can get away with.
