"Gunny" Bob to KOA caller concerned about critics who "don't even know" Obama: "I didn't know Hitler. I didn't know Stalin."
On his April 30 Newsradio 850 KOA program, "Gunny" Bob Newman responded to a caller's complaint about people who say of Sen. Barack Obama "that he doesn't have a good heart when you don't even know the guy and are relying on mass media to paint a picture of him," by stating, "Well, you know, I didn't know Hitler. I didn't know Stalin." Newman added, "Not that Obama is Stalinesque, not that Obama is Hitleresque, but we didn't know those two either."
From the April 30 broadcast of Newsradio 850 KOA's The Gunny Bob Show:
CALLER: As far as Barack Obama goes --
NEWMAN: Mmm-hmm.
CALLER: -- and as far as that crazy pastor that he has, I think that you should just judge the guy on his moral character and, you know, people are gonna say stuff. As far as his policies and being character-driven and all that other kind of stuff, I think that he does have character, but I think that he's --
NEWMAN: Is it good character or bad character?
CALLER: I think that he has good intentions; I think he has a good heart. And I think for people to say that he doesn't have a good heart when you don't even know the guy and are relying on mass media to paint a picture of him --
NEWMAN: Well, you know, I didn't know Hitler. I didn't know Stalin, you know, to take a couple of dramatic figures from history. Not that Obama is Stalinesque, not that Obama is Hitleresque, but we didn't know those two either.

The old oberscharfuerhrer has a lot of nerve bringing up Hitler, the bombastic buffoon's hand picked, paranormal spiritual advisor. By the way, anybody found any documentation about herr streicher's "combat experience" yet? I sure can't find any. Here's wonderin' if next year's Democratically controlled via super majority Congress will enforce the Stolen Valor Act? Can you hear the train comin', "gunny"?
"I didn't know Hitler. I didn't know Stalin."
Gunny Bob also doesn't know truth, facts, or reality. :-)
I'm impressed. The "Gunney" is a quipster able to thwart those dastardly liberal callers with brilliant "think on your feet" put downs utilizing his vast reservoir of knowledge. Olinger and Larsen and the insightful profiteering staff at KOA are to be congratulated for presenting this group of enlightened provocative intellectual's, Rosey, Gunny, and the Con.
Gunny didn't know Hitler or Stalin. But I'll bet he knew a lot about Pabst Blue Ribbon while on R&R in the Philippines during his (imaginary?) combat days. "Semper Fi" big guy.
