- Joseph Boven most recently worked as the editor in chief of the Denver-based cultural arts magazine Twenty3, for which he produced a number of video interviews and webcasts. He also has worked as a researcher, editor, project manager, and commercial fisherman. Boven, who has lived in Colorado for more than 20 years and holds a bachelor's degree in English and psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder, is a member of the Research Department for Colorado Media Matters.
- Eric Brody served as legislative correspondent for Rep. José E. Serrano (D-NY) and volunteered on the Washington, D.C., mayoral campaigns of Sharon Pratt Dixon and Anthony Williams and the congressional campaign of Bruce Morrison of Connecticut. He was editor of the newsletter East/West Business & Investment and has also worked in the Eurasia program of the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs and as a leader of the volunteer organization Capital Action. Brody holds a bachelor's degree in history from Yale University and is a member of the Research Department for Colorado Media Matters.
- Chris Harrison spent nine years in higher education as an administrator and then as a teacher, and two years as a writer for a progressive business education company in San Francisco. Most recently, he taught Argument and Research at the University of California-Irvine. Harrison holds a bachelor's degree in American studies from Hampshire College and a master's degree in English from the University of California-Irvine. He is a member of the Research Department for Colorado Media Matters.
- Seth Howard has a degree in computer science from Metropolitan State College of Denver. He has worked with several nonprofit groups offering open-source solutions for their software/IT needs. Howard is a Web Producer for Colorado Media Matters.
- Carl Krueger has an extensive background in public policy, with a focus on educational opportunities for low-income students. He most recently worked as a policy analyst for the Denver-based Education Commission of the States (ECS), a national nonprofit education policy organization, where he worked with selected states on their design and delivery of education, and also published numerous policy briefs. A Denver native, he holds a master's degree in history from the University of Colorado and is the Research Director for Colorado Media Matters.
- Leslie Lyon has worked as a writer and editor for more than 20 years, at newspapers including USA Today, the Rocky Mountain News and The Denver Post. She also was a member of the team that launched Microsoft's MSN Entertainment website. A Colorado resident for more than 25 years, she graduated with honors from the University of Missouri and is a Web Editor for Colorado Media Matters.
- Bill Menezes is a longtime journalist and Colorado resident whose career includes reporting and editorial management positions at the Associated Press, Rocky Mountain News, Denver Post, and several Colorado-based national business news magazines published by Reed Business Information, including Wireless Week and Broadband Week. Recently he worked as a senior media relations strategist for the Denver office of Carmichael Lynch Spong, a national public relations firm. Menezes spent much of his childhood in the Denver area and has lived here since returning in 1995. He is the Editorial Director for Colorado Media Matters.
- Serena Woods most recently served as Communications and Project Associate for the Colorado Democracy Alliance. In 2006 Woods worked on Jennifer Mello's Colorado State Senate campaign; previously she worked in public relations and communications for a variety of nonprofit organizations, including Visions in Action in Washington, D.C., and Camp Fire USA in Eugene, Oregon. A Colorado native, Woods holds a bachelor's degree in public relations from the University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communication. She is the Communications Director for Colorado Media Matters.
